An ordinary guide book can provide you with the facts but the Get on in Vegas Travel Guide will help you plan your next Vegas vacation by giving you the benefit of our own Sin City experiences and those of our family, friends and visitors.

There’s much more to Las Vegas than gambling; so much more in fact that you might not know where to begin.

How do you decide what’s worth seeing?

With so much choice where do you start?

Is it possible to do Vegas on a budget?

Famous Las Vegas Sign

Don't worry. These are the same questions we had when we first visited Las Vegas for our honeymoon and they led us on our own journey of discovery of one of America’s most modern cities.

So now, nearly ten years later (where does the time go?) we’re here to help you plan your own trip with our own Las Vegas travel tips and reviews.

Planning your visit to Vegas

One of the great things about Las Vegas is that you can have a fabulous break whether you’ve got an unlimited budget or just a shoe string.

We’ve got plenty of experience with the latter in particular and have discovered how to find cheap flights, the best cheap hotels, where to eat cheaply, where to shop for bargains and what to do that’s free.

Caesars Hotel Las Vegas

If you’re planning a luxurious break the desert city is still the perfect destination with first class hotels, restaurants and shopping malls.

Gambling might well be the first word that springs to mind when you think of Las Vegas but the city has so much more to offer no matter what your budget. In fact some of the newer establishments are being built without casinos such as the Mandarin Oriental hotel in City Center.

Las Vegas attractions

And whether you’re visiting Sin City for the day or a week for business or pleasure, on a romantic break or holiday with the kids there is plenty to do:

Another plus about this city is that you don’t have to be able to drive to get around. There are many different transport methods from the monorail to the bus or just plain walking. Use our maps to help you navigate the strip.
