Celebrities in Las Vegas

There are dozens of celebrities in Las Vegas so keep your camera ready at all times because it’s more than likely you’ll come face to face with one at some point.
Why are there so many celebs in Vegas?
This is partly because Sin City’s close enough to LA to make it the perfect playground for stars who want to get away and let rip for a few days but it also provides them with a number of business opportunities so you’ll not just come across them in the casinos...

You’ll also see them performing in concerts and shows and hosting at clubs and openings. Las Vegas is literally teaming with stars from the Z list right up to the A list.
Meeting an A-lister
Take, for example, our most recent trip to the City. We were lucky enough to meet Bette Midler – in the flesh. There was no planning involved. We were staying at
Caesars Palace
where the Divine Miss M was starring in ‘The Showgirl Must Go On' at the Colosseum.

Whilst wandering through the casino we saw a poster announcing Bette’s book signing for The Saga of Baby Divine scheduled for 10pm after her show. So we bought the book, queued up and met her – simple as that - and the atmosphere was electric. Where else could you expect to stumble upon such a legend you might ask? A once in a lifetime opportunity ... or so we thought.

Making a plan
What we realised on our return to the UK was that if celeb spotting had been top of our Vegas agenda we could have planned to see someone different every night.
In the week we were in Vegas celebrities from P Diddy, Leighton Meester and Usher Raymond were hosting at Clubs along the Strip; Justin Timberlake was spotted in the casinos; Eva Longoria Parker opened her new nightclub, Eve, in Crystals at
City Center
where just a few days later Kristin Cavallari from the Hills celebrated her birthday. Phew! And that’s just to name a few.

Not to mention the celebrities in Las Vegas starring in concerts and shows up and down the strip such as Kid Rock, Donny & Marie Osmond, Holly Madison, David Spade and many more. And for many of the shows you can purchase VIP tickets which include a meet and greet opportunity.

Mixing with the Stars
If, as the old saying goes, ‘We are the five people we associate with most and our income is an average of those five people,’ I say visit Vegas frequently and associate with the Stars. I don’t know about you but I’d be more than happy if my income was the average of Bette’s, Eva’s, Donny’s, Justin’s and Kid’s!
