As seen on screen
The Flamingo Casino Vegas is vintage Sin City itself. It’s the oldest resort that’s still in working order on the Strip and has starred in not one but both of the Ocean’s Eleven films and also the 1964 Elvis Presley film Viva Las Vegas.

About the Flamingo Hotel Las Vegas
The Flamingo Hotel in Vegas is embroiled in the infamous mafia history of desert city. It was opened by mobster Bugsy Siegel in 1946 and at the time was the most lavish hotel on the Strip.
The Flamingo Casino in Las Vegas is in a great, central location on the Strip opposite
Caesars Palace.
And there are good transport links with a monorail station at the back of the hotel. As one of the older hotels we expected it to be dowdy but were really surprised by how nice and modern it inside.

Sleeping
There are more than 3,000 rooms in the Hotel Casino Flamingo in Las Vegas. If you can afford an upgrade the Go Deluxe rooms are particularly noted for their comfort and excellent views of the LV Boulevard. They contain CD and DVD players which are compatible with iPods, wireless internet and 42 inch plasma screen TVs.
The Flamingo is one of the hotels embarking on the PetStay Programme
so you can even take your dog along if you stay here.

Eating
There are plenty of dining options to choose from at the Flamingo: Beach Club (for a light snack); Burger Joint; Flamingo Food Court; Hamada Japan; Pink Bean; Paradise Garden Buffet; Promenade Food Court; Sin City Brewing Company; and the Tropical Breeze Cafe.
The Flamingo has a few laid-back lounges which you can head to. There's nothing we like better than an icy daquari at
Margaritaville.
But if you prefer views of the wildlife at the Flamingo Habitat or the lagoon while you chill-out then have a drink at the Bugsy Bar or the Garden Bar.
Entertainment

This is a great hotel to stay at in the Summer as there’s a 15 acre exotic pool area which features pools, lagoons, a waterfall and waterslide which is a haven when the weather's hot. If you're not staying at the Flamingo you can still enjoy the tropical pool area for $20 a day.
You can work-out at the Flamingo's Spa and Fitness Center then relax in the whirlpools, steam rooms and saunas.

We really enjoy visiting the
Flamingo Habitat
at the hotel which is free of charge, packed with wildlife and great for kids. Even if you’re not staying here it’s worth checking it out.
