What are the best
free Las Vegas things to do?
We've been asked many times if there really are free Las Vegas things to do? The answer is yes, absolutely; there are lots of free attractions in Las Vegas.
In fact, something that surprised us and continues to surprise is all the excellent free Las Vegas attractions you’ll find in Sin City; attractions that just keep getting more spectacular each time we return!

Everyone knows Vegas is the place where you can truly win or lose a fortune. I imagine, like us you’d love to be one of the winners. Do you think about it? Pray about it? Dream about it? Be honest… Well, who wouldn’t?
Daydreaming...
Maybe while you’re soaking up some rays and enjoying a cocktail or two by the pool you close your eyes and day dream about the moment your numbers come up?

I know I do and in my day dreams I see myself upgrading to a huge suite in one of the really fancy hotels, maybe in the
Wynn
or the
Palazzo.
From my lavish suite I make reservations for dinner at all the
best restaurants
in town and then plan which nightclubs we’ll go on to afterwards.
But first I’ll need to look the part. So I hit the
shops along the Strip,
starting at Crystals in
City Center
and perhaps pick up a Chanel bag; Christian Louboutin shoes; a Gucci watch and some new designer threads. And I won’t be doing any of that
walking
malarkey. No way! I’ll have a chauffeur driven limo thanks very much. I don’t want to tire myself out for the long night ahead...

...And then the sun goes behind a cloud... and I come back to reality... You know what I’m talking about. If you gamble away all your money in the first couple of days (like the Cowboys we met in the lift at
Caesars)
or you just didn’t have much to start with you can still have a fabulous time taking in all the Free Las Vegas things to do.
Fountains of Bellagio
Looking for something romantic to do with your partner but can’t afford a slap up dinner? Head over to the Bellagio hotel at dusk and watch a Las Vegas
Fountains of Bellagio
show. This is one of the most iconic of all the Las Vegas things to do.
The cost of visiting all the great attractions Las Vegas has to offer can really add to the cost of your trip. To help
keep costs down we usually get a
Las Vegas Power Pass With it you’ll have
access to over 20 attractions, tours, rides etc. The Power Pass is
worth more than $500 in admissions and discounts.
Mirage Volcano
After something with a bit more suspense and action? Check out the
Mirage Volcano.
You’ll find it right in front of the Mirage hotel Las Vegas NV periodically spilling over with lava and shooting fireballs.
Fall of Atlantis
A great free show for all the family is the Caesars Palace Entertainment
Fall of Atlantis
show at the
Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.
If you have enough pennies enjoy watching it from the
Cheesecake Factory Las Vegas.
Flamingo Habitat
Animal lovers have plenty of attractions to choose from along the Las Vegas Strip some of which are free like the
Flamingo Habitat
at the
Flamingo hotel Vegas.
It’s great for all the family...
MGM Grand Lion Habitat
... as is the
Lion Habitat
at the
MGM Grand
hotel where you can get up close to the King of the Jungle and watch from the clear walkway as he plays with the trainer or has a kip.
Famous Las Vegas Sign
Having your picture taken next to this historic monument, the
Welcome to Las Vegas Sign,
(just beyond the
Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino)
is something that should be up the top of your list of Las Vegas things to do whether you’re a millionaire or not (oh and did I mention – it’s free!)
Coca Cola Store and M and Ms World
Wile away the hours in the
Coca Cola Store and M and Ms World
which are both, that’s right, FREE. Unfortunately the stuff inside isn’t but there’s a free movie you can watch at M&Ms; World.
Las Vegas Fremont Street Experience
See the fabulous neon sound and light shows at the
Fremont Street Experience
in Downtown Vegas where all the action took place in the 1950s.
Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
In terms of beauty the
Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
really is one of the Las Vegas top attractions with an array of colourful flowers and water features which change regularly.
Phew! Have a great time and
let us know
if you’ve got any other great free Las Vegas things to do that you think should be on our list.
