What kind of food does it serve?

This restaurant, as you can probably guess from its name, serves French cuisine and is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Mon Ami is French for 'My Friend' and Gabi (Gabino Sotelino) is both the owner and renowned chef.

Their signature steak frittes are mouth-watering. We love the Steak Classique which comes with the tastiest finely-sliced fries. The quality of the meat is so good that it melts in your mouth and this is one of the reasons it makes our list of best restaurants in Las Vegas Nevada.

We don't bother with starters when we eat at this French Bistro as the bread is so heavenly it's easy to get carried away and before you know it you're full up and don't have much room for your main course.

Should we book?

If you're visiting for dinner it's probably best to make a reservation as, not surprisingly, it's one of the most popular and best of the Las Vegas restaurants. NB - You can't make a reservation for the patio area which is operated on a first come first served basis.

Are there views of the Las Vegas Fountains of Bellagio shows?

This is a great place to go for a romantic meal particularly as the patio offers the perfect spot from which to watch the Fountains of Bellagio. If you want to watch the show from here you'll need to arrive half an hour or so before a Bellagio Fountains show begins to ensure you get a spot on the sought-after patio.

Is it expensive?

You might expect food of this standard to cost the earth but it's good value for money and we've always found the staff very courteous and helpful.
