And the Planet Hollywood cafe and restaurant in Caesars Hotel Las Vegas is no exception. It's a great place for families.
Why isn't the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Cafe and Restaurant in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino?
It might seem strange that the restaurant is housed in Caesars Palace rather than in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino but the restaurant pre-dates the hotel.
What kind of food do they serve?
The Planet Hollywood menu is filled typical American cuisine. Last time we were there we shared some buffalo wings to start with which I followed with the classic cheeseburger without the cheese (so just a hamburger! I'm not sure why a plain hamburger isn't an option on the menu.) I usually have some sort of burger in Planet Hollywood restaurants as the meat they use is always really good quality. My husband, Martyn, had a plateful of mouth-watering pork ribs.
They also have a menu of delicious smoothies. I find the Home Alone (strawberry, banana and grenadine) goes well with most dishes! (as seen in our Planet Hollywood pictures on the right) Martyn prefers the milkshakes.
What's the atmosphere like?
We've always found the staff really friendly and attentive. There was a football match playing the last time we went and the members of staff were joking about the game with the customers.
Should we book?
You don't need to book unless your party's more than 15 people. It's never been that busy when we've eaten there but could be at peak times.
