Why choose this restaurant?
Spice Market is billed as the best buffet in Las Vegas so we were keen to see if it lived up to its promise. Plus while staying at the Planet Hollywood Hotel Las Vegas we received coupons for $5 off the buffet which made it even more appealing.
What’s the atmosphere like?
This Planet Hollywood restaurant’s pleasant and bright. And as with some of the other buffets in Sin City it's on a lower-ground floor. It’s not as elegant as the
Lago buffet at Caesars
but then the Planet Hollywood hotel and casino has a cooler, younger vibe in general so it’s in keeping with that. The buffet’s set up in a way that reminds me a bit of the Wonders of the World at Epcot in Disney with the various food stations from different corners of the globe.
So what kind of food do they serve at the best buffet in Vegas?
Food from all over the world: Mexican; American; Middle Eastern; Italian and Asian. I’ve eaten here a good few times and usually gravitate towards the American food as they do a great prime rib.

Last time we went for lunch my wife, Victoria, had fajitas from the Mexican food station which she really enjoyed. I couldn’t get her to sample anything else savoury as her eyes had been firmly fixed on the dessert station from the moment we arrived.
After her Mexican she loaded her plate with as many little cookies and cakes as she could, had a freshly cooked crepe, topped off with candy floss aka cotton candy. (This selection is certainly what made this one of her top Las Vegas buffet restaurants.) All this before we got on the plane back to England!
