Where to get tickets to the best shows in Las Vegas (for the best prices)

You’re looking for tickets to the best shows in Las Vegas and you don’t want to pay over the odds for them. So where do you start?

Sin City is jam packed with shows of all genres. With around 100 current Las Vegas shows to choose from, many at discount prices or with special offers, there’s something to suit everyone whether you’re looking for entertainment for the whole family or a show aimed at adults. They don’t call it the Entertainment Capital for no reason!

Vegas has and continues to play host to major acts such as Celine Dion, for whom the 4,000 seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace was built, comedians such as Joan Rivers and magicians such as Criss Angel.

The desert city boasts huge productions to dinner shows, hypnosis shows to shows for adults, tribute shows, variety shows, magic shows, concerts, comedy shows, major productions and of course Cirque du Soleil. You name it; they’ve got it. So, what are the best shows in Las Vegas? That’s really a matter of taste. Coveted tickets to a Celine Dion concert would make my sister’s year and be my husband’s worst nightmare!

Should I book tickets to shows in Vegas before I travel or look for tickets when I arrive?

The best shows in Las Vegas sell out fast. If you’ve got your heart set on a particular show don’t risk missing out; book before you go. BestofVegas has an excellent selection of tickets to the best shows in Las Vegas - and something we really like – they have video previews of the shows on their site so you can get a sneak peak of the shows before you commit to tickets. Absolutely. Tix4Tonight sells half price tickets to the current Las Vegas shows. Visit one of their booths that are located at a number of sites in Las Vegas: Fashion Show Mall; Hawaiian Marketplace; In front of the Showcase Mall; Circus Circus; Four Queens, Downtown area; Bill’s Gamblin Casino; O’Shea’s Casino; and the Giant Coke Bottle at the Showcase Mall.

They charge a $3-5 service charge so beforehand make sure you visit their website and download the $2 discount coupon.

Should I buy tickets to the current Las Vegas shows direct or from a broker?

If you buy your tickets for shows in Las Vegas Nevada through the hotel’s box office you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that you’ve got genuine good seats. But you don’t need to buy direct to get good seats and to have that peace of mind as long as you’re sensible. And if price is a concern it’s worth shopping around. As well as BestofVegas another reputable site you can purchase tickets from is Ticketmaster. They also sell best tickets and VIP packages.

Is it possible to get tickets to a sold out Las Vegas show?

If you’re prepared to pay a bit more for your tickets then it is. Be cautious however and avoid ticket touts or scalpers. You don’t want to hand over your cash only to find the tickets aren’t genuine and that’s always a risk with this route.

Instead speak to the concierge in your hotel or use a reputable broker. VegasTickets is a reliable local broker based in Vegas that’s been operating for over 20 years. Or you could try StubHub. The good thing about this online middle man is that they guarantee that the tickets you buy will be genuine and that you’ll get them in time for the show.
