Which are the best shows in Las Vegas? Well, there are so many first rate shows from all different genres in Sin City that it really comes down to a matter of taste. Coveted tickets to a Celine Dion concert would make my sister’s year and be my husband’s worst nightmare!
What do you like? Are you looking for a show that you can take the whole family to? Do you want to watch something that’ll have you crying with laughter? Are you looking for something a little more adult? Are you busting to see a huge star like Elton John or Shania Twain?
We find it useful to sit down and decide on our objectives before we even begin to search for tickets. With as many as 100 shows on in Las Vegas at any one
time having an idea of what you're looking for can really help cut down your searching time.
You may have heard Las Vegas referred to as the Entertainment Capital of the World? Well the phenomenal choice of shows are a huge part of why.
Vegas has and continues to play host to major acts such as Celine Dion, for whom the 4,000 seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace was built, comedians such as Joan Rivers and magicians such as Criss Angel.
We love watching shows but there’s only so many
you can fit in to one trip. Luckily our friend Shaun Moggan loves Las Vegas
shows too. Just recently he’s been along to see Absinthe, Penn and Teller,
Carrot Top and Terry Fator. You can read our reviews in this section but if you've seen a show that you think other visitors really ought to read about please add your own review.
The best shows in Las Vegas sell out fast. If you’ve got your heart set on a particular show don’t risk missing out; book before you go.

Tix4Tonight sells half price tickets
to the current Las Vegas shows. You can’t miss their red and yellow booths
which are dotted around Las Vegas at: Fashion Show Mall; Hawaiian Marketplace;
In front of the Showcase Mall; Circus Circus; Four Queens, Downtown area;
Bill’s Gamblin Casino; O’Shea’s Casino; and the Giant Coke Bottle at the
Showcase Mall.
We’ve spent our time in the lines at the Tix4Tonight booths which open at
9.30am every day. I remember once queuing for what seemed like an age at the
Showcase Mall booth for tickets to see Peepshow only to find out Holly Madison
wasn’t performing that week... Anyway, what we discovered is that it’s best to
get there up to an hour before the booths open to avoid being stuck in long
lines. You can pay for the tickets with cash, credit cards and travellers’
cheques with photo ID.
If you buy your tickets for shows in Las Vegas Nevada through the hotel’s box office you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that you’ve got genuine good seats. But you don’t need to buy direct to get good seats and to have that peace of mind as long as you’re sensible.
And if price is a concern it's worth shopping around. As well as BestofVegas other reputable sites you can purchase tickets from are Ticket Liquidator and Ticketmaster who also sell best tickets and VIP packages.If you’re
prepared to pay a bit more for your tickets then it is. Be cautious however and
avoid ticket touts or scalpers. You
don’t want to hand over your cash only to find the tickets aren’t genuine and
that’s always a risk with this route.
