Las Vegas Conventions Calendar
and other special events

The Las Vegas Conventions Calendar is jam packed; Conventions are big business in Las Vegas! And not surprisingly. Let’s be honest, if you needed to attend a business event or trade show it would be far more attractive if the venue was Sin City wouldn’t it!

My mum's cousin Candy and her husband, Billy, run an equestrian business in the UK. They regularly monitor the Las Vegas Conventions Calendar and each year, they attend the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT show.)

They take a group of friends and combine business with pleasure, spending a whole week in the desert city. They splash out and indulge a little staying at the fabulous Wynn. Candy and her group love to while away the hours, that they’re not spending at the convention, in the shopping malls, spas, casinos and catching as many shows as they can pack in. Candy said, “Billy and I think Las Vegas is such a brilliant place for conventions.”

Las Vegas Conventions Calendar

And there are many people all over the world who feel the same as my cousin; they flock to Las Vegas from different countries for the numerous, different conventions of which there are nigh on 20,000, keen to explore all that the city has to offer while they’re there. And Las Vegas really has a lot to offer!

During the largest, most popular conventions the City can get very busy; just as busy in fact as during some of the major holidays. This is because some the trade shows attract in excess of 100,000 attendees. If you’re planning a Vegas vacation it’s worth being aware of the dates of these so that you can either book your trip well in advance or alter your dates slightly to go at a quieter time.

Below are some of the largest/ extremely popular trade shows in the Las Vegas Conventions Calendar:
