As seen on screen
The South Point Casino Las Vegas is no stranger to television. The PBA world series of bowling is taking place at the Bowling Center and will be starring in six ESPN telecasts throughout the season. You might have seen it on screen as the resort has also hosted the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon since 2006 and a number of poker shows.
About South Point
The South Point Hotel Las Vegas is the largest of all the hotels off the Las Vegas strip. It opened in 2005 and since then the resort has been expanded so that it now has over 2,000 rooms.
South Point is about a 10 minute drive from the Strip – close to the action yet far enough away so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. If you want to head over to LV Boulevard the hotel runs a convenient shuttle to and from the Strip which costs $8 for a round trip.
Sleeping
South Point Hotel Casino has a mixture of rooms and suites offering views of the mountains and Las Vegas valley. If you're looking for more space book a suite; the smallest are 900 sq ft.
