Stratosphere Tower - Much better than expected

Our stay at the Stratosphere got off to a promising start from the get go. Check in was fairly quick with pleasant staff who found us a great room that was nice and quiet not that we found the hallways particularly noisy as it turned out.

It only cost us about $30 a night to stay here. If you like rides this is a great place and you get free passes to the Observation Deck which has killer views of Vegas. The restaurants we ate at were great.

We especially liked Roxy’s which was reasonably priced with a good atmosphere. The buffet was also good value with lots of choice. The Stratosphere lies at the North end of the Strip so it’s a bit of a way to walk to the centre but a taxi cost us no more than $10. We also got the Deuce bus a few times which stops right outside the Stratosphere. Overall staying here was an excellent experience.
