The Get on in Vegas Travel Guide was born out of our love for everything Vegas; a love that began in 2003 during our first visit to the City. We set-up this website in 2009 to share with you all the tips and useful information we’ve learned and continue to learn about the Entertainment Capital of the World.

It might have crossed your mind about how this website supports itself... We are not paid for what we write on these pages; neither are we connected to the Las Vegas travel and tourism industry. What you’ll find on this site is our own opinions and sometimes, as you’ll have seen, contributions from our Vegas-loving friends and family.

Get on in Vegas Travel Guide supports itself through its affiliate relationships and advertising. This is how we’re able to provide you with all this free content and keep it up to date. Affiliates give us a small commission if you click through the links on our site and either sign up or make a purchase from them.

However, these relationships do not influence what we write on our pages, neither do they mean that you pay any extra fees. You’ll either pay the same or less. And we happily include links to companies with which we have no relationship with if we feel it will benefit our visitors, such as Tix4Tonight who provide discounted show tickets. In fact we have many links like this.

The affiliate relationships we have, have been chosen because we feel they provide a benefit to our visitors. For example we know from personal experience that BestofVegas offers great discounts and offers on tickets to shows and attractions while Maverick Helicopters provides superb helicopter rides. We learn about many of the discounts and promotions available, which we pass on to you, because of our affiliate partnerships.

Our website contains adverts from Google and other companies, all of which are clearly identifiable as advertisements and not content. Google selects the adverts they show on each page and they display different adverts in different places.

About Advertising with Us

If you are interested in advertising with us please note the following:

To advertise with us your company/ website must be related to travel, tourism or entertainment.

We will not approve advertisements from websites containing anything illegal such as Porn or Child Abuse.

We reserve the right to decline any advertising enquiry that we do not feel would fit our site.

To maintain a quality experience for our visitors your advertisement will appear on a page with relevant content. For example if your advert is about flights it will be placed on our flights page.

All advertisements are for a minimum of six months. You will receive a notification 30 days before the end of the six months asking you if you wish to renew. If you do not respond the advertisement will be removed at the end of the agreed period.

Advertising rates are subject to change upon renewal.

In accordance with guidelines from Google, please note that all advertising will encompass a ‘nofollow’ tag in the html code and text links must be identifiable as adverts.
