The Venetian gondola ride is one of the Las Vegas top attractions that you should head to if you want to
sit back and relax for a while.
The first time we went on one of the gondola rides at the Venetian we shared the gondola with another couple as each holds four people but if you can afford the price you can have it
all to yourself.

What are the gondola rides at the Venetian like?
When you’re riding along the Grand Canal in the
Venetian
hotel Las Vegas NV, listening to the gondoliers sing, you can make believe you’re in the real Venice.

The cost of visiting all the great attractions Las Vegas has to offer can really add to the cost of your trip. To help
keep costs down we usually get a
Las Vegas Power Pass With it you’ll have
access to over 20 attractions, tours, rides etc. The Power Pass is
worth more than $500 in admissions and discounts.
You have the choice of taking an indoor ride, which takes you through the
Grand Canal Shoppes
and allows you to admire the architecture and fascinating ceiling that looks like the sky...

Or an outdoor ride, which takes you into the lagoon outside the Venetian...

The indoor ride is longer by a couple of minutes but on a warm day there’s nothing like basking in the golden sunshine as the gondola gently rocks to and fro on the water.
Reservations for the gondola rides at the Venetian
The opening times of the Gondola ride are at the top of this page. Note that the last gondola leaves 15 minutes before closing time. You can make a reservation for this attraction but only on the same day as you want to take the ride.
Can I book and pay for gondola ride tickets for friends?
We first found our way to the ride because we were given dollars as a honeymoon present and instructed to spend them on a gondola ride at the Venetian resort Las Vegas.

We recently received an email from one of our readers who's a non-US resident asking if it was possible to make a reservation and pay for tickets for a gondola ride as a present for a friend, even though she wouldn't be present. We were curious to know if this was possible so contacted the Venetian hotel Las Vegas NV.
Unfortunately, the credit card holder needs to be there to pick up the tickets but there are other options. If you’re not going to be present the best thing to do is buy a Visa, Amex or Mastercard gift card, purchase the tickets with that and give the card to your friend who will then be able to pick up the tickets with a photo ID.
