About the Wynn Hotel

The Wynn Resort is one of the best hotels Las Vegas has to offer. With its smooth lines and rich chocolate colour piped with gold, it’s a sumptuous addition to the Strip.

Wynn Hotel Las Vegas NV opened in 2005, on LV Boulevard South opposite the Fashion Show Mall, and at that time it was the tallest hotel on the Strip (not to be confused with the Stratosphere which has the tallest observation tower in the USA.)

Outside the Wynn Hotel Vegas is a three-acre lake, home to a curtain waterfall which is a great photo opportunity. In fact, you might have a job to walk by without being caught by a camera. There are always plenty of people, usually couples, vying to have their pictures taken at this beautiful spot.

Sleeping

The $2.7 billion it cost to build is evident in every inch of the Wynn Hotel Las Vegas NV and you really do need to have some cash in your pocket if you’re going to stay here but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for...

...And you’re looking at paying at least $259 a night for a room but for that you’ll get opulence and space housing a settee, table and chairs, LCD TV, his and hers sinks in the bathroom and quality European linen on the beds.

Eating

The Wynn Las Vegas restaurants are fabulous enough to accommodate everyone’s taste (but only fairly deep pockets!).

You might be surprised to learn that there are a number of casual dining options which include: The Buffet; Asian bistro, Red 8; Terrace Point Cafe; New York style deli, Zoozacrackers; Pizza Place and more.

And of course there are other, more upscale, restaurants to choose from. These are: Alex, serving French cuisine; Wing Lei, serving Chinese cuisine; SW Steakhouse; Daniel Boulud, serving French cuisine; Bartolotta, serving Italian cuisine; Okada,serving Japanese cuisine; steakhouse, The Country Club;Stratta; and Tableau, serving American cuisine.

Entertainment

Another place where you'll need some cash in your pockets is the Encore Esplanade, a cascade of shops that runs between the Wynn and the Encore and features top end stores such as Chanel, Cartier and Louis Vuitton. It may not be vast but it's total shopping heaven if you're in to designer shops.

If staying at the Wynn Hotel Vegas is beyond your budget you should still check it out and make sure you visit the Penske-Wynn Ferrari Maserati showroom and have your photo taken in a Ferrari (and pretend for a few minutes that you own it!) If you're a car lover this is something that never gets old.
