About the Coca Cola Store
The Coca Cola store has two floors packed with more Coca-Cola branded items than you could possibly imagine. If it exists then the Coca-Cola company has stamped it with the Coca-Cola logo.
They had coca-cola calendars, t-shirts, clocks, coca-cola bottles, towels, key rings, sports and household items; soft coca-cola polar bears (which were so cute that we brought one home for my sister.)The list goes on... and on... Sometimes you’ll even come across a giant polar bear wandering around the store having his photos taken with the visitors.
The cost of visiting all the great attractions Las Vegas has to offer can really add to the cost of your trip. To help keep costs down
we usually get a Las Vegas Power Pass
With it you’ll have access to over 20 attractions, tours, rides etc.
The Power Pass is worth more than $500
in admissions and discounts.
Refresh and refuel at the Soda Fountain on the second floor of the World of Coca-Cola. They make great floats rammed full of ice cream. You can choose from any type of fizzy drink and whichever ice cream flavor you want from what’s available. I had a Sprite float with vanilla ice cream and loved it.
Sprite Float at the World of Coca-Cola
We'd never had so much gorgeous ice cream in a float before. It was more like a dessert - the absolute bench mark for judging all future floats!
If you're not into Floats then for $7 you can sample 16 of Coca-Cola's drinks from different places in the Taste from Around the World option.
Over to my husband Martyn to tell you about one of his greatest passions ...
About M and Ms World
M and Ms World on the Las Vegas Strip
I admit it. I’ve been addicted to M and Ms candy since I was a boy so discovering this four storey shop bulging with chocolate was like finding heaven!
We always hit up M and Ms World when we’re in Vegas. In this vivid store you can get all types of M and M collectibles. Souvenirs include t-shirts, toys and of course M&Ms. (Some of the M and M candy here is unique to this store.) There’s even a 3D cinema just off the first floor showing the free film I lost my M in Vegas.
I’m always drawn to the M and Ms candy dispensers lining the walls of the second floor at Colourworks. They have every colour you can imagine, many of which are unique to the store. Warning though, they’re not cheap! So go easy when you’re filling your bag or you could spend a fortune before you know it. (I usually... scrap that... ALWAYS do!)
If you’re after collectors’ items (who knew there were M&Ms collectors’ items but there are!) check out the third floor and then head up to the fourth floor to see the M and Ms race car. It’s a copy of American race car driver Kyle Busch’s car.
