Tie the knot at one of the Las Vegas Wedding Chapels
Can you believe that more than 60,000 couples get married in Vegas within the Las Vegas Wedding Chapels each year?
Are you considering being one of them? If you are then you’d be in good company.
Over 500 celebrity weddings have taken place in Sin City... how many of these unions have lasted is another story.

Celebrity weddings in Vegas
The Little Chapel of the West is the oldest chapel in Las Vegas and over the years celebrities have been going in and out and back in again and again and again and again and again and again in the case of Mickey Rooney.
Celebrities to have been married at the Little Chapel of the West include Betty Grable and Harry James; Zsa Zsa Gabor and George Sanders; Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie; and Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford.
Another celebrity favourite is the famous Little White Chapel where Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were betrothed as well as Britney Spears and Jason Alexander; and Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy.
Reasons to choose to get married in a Las Vegas Wedding Chapel
There are many benefits to having your wedding at a Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. For one, wedding packages start off pretty cheap. For a couple of hundred dollars you can get married in a chapel, though you’ll likely be turned around within 30 minutes.
You can be impulsive. It’s best to book if you can but some of the chapels will fit you in. The Chapel by the Courthouse is a good choice if you’re looking to be spontaneous. It’s the sister chapel of the famous Little White Wedding Chapel and is only a couple of minutes drive away from the marriage license bureau, from where you can get your marriage license.
Vegas Wedding Chapels are generally open from 8am until 12pm every day including the holidays, though note that Valentine’s and New Year’s Eve get very busy.
Are Vegas Wedding Chapels just for tacky weddings?
No, not at all, some of the chapels are really elegant. The Chapel of Flowers comes to mind if you’re opposed to the tacky. Friends of ours, Jenny and John, had their wedding there last year and were really impressed with how tasteful the whole wedding was. One thing’s for sure when it comes to weddings in Vegas; there’s something for everyone.
Are there Las Vegas Wedding Chapels where you can have Drive thru weddings?

There most definitely are. Talk about taking the American Drive thru to a new level! The concept may sound bizarre but the Little White Chapel, for example, built it’s Tunnel of Love Drive Thru to make it easier for disabled people to get married not realising the novelty factor would make it so attractive generally. If you want a unique ceremony this is for you.
