Why use an airport shuttle?
Are you worried about how to get from McCarran Airport to your hotel? If you decide to make use of the Las Vegas airport shuttle service then you needn’t be.
We were so anxious about how we’d get from the airport to our hotel on our first trip to Sin City that at the airport in London we turned down the chance to fly first class via New York (instead of economy via Los Angeles) because it meant we’d have got to the desert city a few hours later and we were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get a shuttle at that time.
As we arrived at McCarran we realised with a sinking feeling that we should have taken the upgrade because there are quite a few Las Vegas airport shuttles there. And the airport shuttles run constantly so we were able to walk straight on to a vehicle that took us to the
Luxor.

How much do Las Vegas shuttles cost?
As well as running frequently they’re also inexpensive – about $6 for a one way ticket to the Strip and around $8 to the Downtown hotels, so much cheaper than a
taxi.
You can find the shuttles near the baggage claim area outside the door exits 7-13.
Do I need to book a shuttle?
You don’t need to book a shuttle for your trip from the airport to the hotel but you must make a booking for the return trip back to the airport. You can get purchase your tickets in advance if you wish and if you have a wheelchair you’ll need to give 24 hours notice.
