Where is it?
You can find the Stratosphere Hotel Las Vegas Nevada at the north end of the Strip. Admittedly it's a bit of a way along LV Boulevard but there's a number of attractions there so it's well worth making the effort.
You can't miss it! Not surprisingly as the Stratosphere's the tallest free-standing observation tower, in America at 1,149 foot tall and the views from it are amazing.
Note that because it's so tall it looks nearer than it is, a mistake we made when we first took a trip here. So, we'd recommend catching the
bus
rather than walking unless you want a lot of exercise.
Observation Deck
The Observation Deck at the Stratosphere Tower Hotel Las Vegas gives you a different perspective of Sin City – a 360 degree aerial view! It’s also a great place to go and relax especially if you want time out from the hustle and bustle of the Strip.

Views from the Observation Deck
There are two decks so you can enjoy the views of Nevada's largest city from either the outside or the inside. The inside deck is a great option if you’re a afraid of heights and not too keen on going on to the outside deck. We love to take our time walking around the decks spotting all the city's landmarks or sitting inside on the comfy white sofas just taking in the view.

The cost of visiting all the great attractions Las Vegas has to offer can really add to the cost of your trip. To help
keep costs down we usually get a
Las Vegas Power Pass With it you’ll have
access to over 20 attractions, tours, rides etc. The Power Pass is
worth more than $500 in admissions and discounts.

If, however you like heights and rides – the Stratosphere Tower Hotel Las Vegas has the perfect combination:
The Stratosphere Rides
- thrill rides at the top of the tower.
But if rides aren’t for you just take in the amazing views from the Observation Deck and listen to the screams of the crazy people who are on the rides!
Restaurants and bars
‘The higher the bar the better the buzz,’ according to the Air Bar at the Stratosphere Tower Las Vegas. If all that gazing from the Observation Deck makes you thirsty the Air Bar’s on hand with its bottomless Margaritas and signature Jet Fuel drink.
And if you need something more than a drink there are three restaurants to choose from at the Stratosphere Las Vegas Nevada: The famous Top of the World restaurant which gently revolves offering 360 degree views of the strip while you eat; Level 107 Lounge; and the Tower Pizzeria.

On bright days sunglasses are advisable so you don't end up squinting at the views as my wife Victoria did!
